Terracult Grain Storage Facility

The objective of this project was the expansion and modernization of existing agricultural holdings by extending the storage and processing capacity (silos and a grain warehouse), infrastructure works and the installation of related equipment in order to achieve a storage capacity of about 70 000 cubic m / 55,000 tons grain.
The main works required by the assignment were: hall for grain storage with a free span of 40 m, with a structure of precast concrete pillars and metal trusses; the placing a complete silage, grain cleaning and drying (a battery of 6 silos); technical auxiliary constructions (auto scales, gate house, laboratory, aboveground tanks for water supply); a roadway platform over an area of about 16,800 square meters and complete works of technical infrastructure: cold water supply and sewage pipe, fire equipment, electrical grid infrastructure works.
