arch. Lidia PĂCURAR
Lidia PĂCURAR graduated from the Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning in Timişoara in 2015 with an year spent at Escuela Tecnica Superior in Granada, Spain, where she received distinctions in the fields of mathematics applied in architecture and urbanism and heritage-applied infographics; she has also furthered her academic experience through courses in the area of historical site vulnerability and non-formal education architecture camps.
During the academic period, she participated in various urban and architectural research papers, presented in national and international publications and conferences; during the same period she became a founding-member of the Association “In comunitate” and whose projects she later involved in.
The personal participation over time in the main generative processes of architecture (research, design and construction) brought about her interest in the architecture-human interaction and thus in the perceptual/sensorial and participatory aspects of architecture and urbanism; in Arhigest, where she is one of the current architects with signature rights, this interest is manifested through different scales of engaging in various projects – from interventions on existing constructions to residential buildings and to agricultural complexes outside the city.
The trump she provides in designing is represented by the constant look for new perspectives and points of view in order to find the “perfect” design answer, rather than stopping at the first solution.
